The development of the Industrial Park in Felsősolca

The "FIZ" Felsőzsolca Industrial Zone Investment, Real Estate Development and Service Ltd. won a non-refundable grant of HUF 199,69 million in 2023. The project identification number is TOP-PLUSZ-1.1.1-21-BO1-2022-00001.

The goal of FIZ Ltd., majority-owned by the municipality, with the project is to increase the number of local SMEs using the business infrastructure and promote the economic growth of the settlement through the development of the logistics infrastructure of the Felsőzsolca Industrial Park.

The main goals of the project:

• attracting investors to industrially unused areas
• development of the operating environment of established and newly established businesses, improving their market position and competitiveness

Activities carried out within the framework of this project:

• construction of a turning lane (junction) towards the Industrial Park from main road No. 3,
• equipment purchase (universal loader and cleaning machine),
• building a camera system
• construction of a "Base building" for FIZ Ltd.

The project is implemented in a consortium with Magyar Közút Nonprofit Zrt.

The development of the Industrial Park in Felsőzsolca is coming to an end

Within the framework of the call entitled "For the implementation of the regional economic environment and municipal economic development projects increasing employment in the counties", "FIZ" Ltd. won a non-refundable European Union grant of HUF 199.69 million for the project titled TOP-PLUS-1.1.1-21-BO1-2022-00001 entitled Development of the Industrial Park in Felsőzsolca. The project is implemented within the framework of the Széchenyi Plan Plus program, together with Magyar Közút Nonprofit Zrt.

The aim of FIZ Ltd. was to create and increase the economic background of the City of Felsőzsolca by establishing the Industrial Park. Our present project is closely related to the above goal, by implementing the tender, the accessibility of our development areas will become safe from main road No. 3, enabling the further development of the City of Felsőzsolca through the settling enterprises. The project also contributes to increasing the number of enterprises using business infrastructure in the industrial park through the development of the logistics infrastructure of the Felsőzsolca Industrial Park, which is the basic task of FIZ Ltd. 
The project will be implemented on the outskirts of Felsőzsolca, on properties next to main road No. 3.

As we approach the closing of the tender, we would like to inform the public about the results achieved and what tasks remain until closing:

• the turning lane (junction) has been established towards the Industrial Park from main road No. 3 and has already been put into service, 
• we have acquired a universal loader and cleaning machine,
• a "Base Building" was built for FIZ Ltd.

The project is scheduled to be completed by June 2025, our remaining tasks are as follows:

• obtaining the occupancy permit for the completed "Base Building",
• installation of the camera system,
• conducting the final event of the project,
• financial accounting for the project.

3. 2025. june

The Development of the Industrial Park in Felsőzsolca has been completed

"FIZ" Felsőzsolca Industrial Zone Investment, Real Estate Development and Services Ltd.'s project - ID number TOP-PLUSZ-1.1.1-21-BO1-2022-00001 - was closed on June 30, 2025.

At the end of the project, the camera system was installed, the "Base Building"'s occupancy permit was obtained, and the project was also closed in the framework of a closing event open to the press.
